I hope everyone has enjoyed the Holiday season up to this point. I am looking forward to the New Year and all that it may bring. In the meantime I will be posting any sales for the upcoming week (December 29th to January 4th) starting tomorrow with Sunflower Market’s new ad. Thanks to everyone for visiting! :)

Grocery Ads

I have noticed an increase in prices at the grocery store again. I remember the Colorado Proud milk for $1.58/gal and now it is up to $1.88/gal. I have to admit I am not impressed with the Buy 10 Save $5 sale for the last couple weeks. You can still get your Oscar Mayer Bologna for cheaper when you wait for a 10/$10 sale. The coupons for Kraft and Velveeta products expired the day before the sale and very few coupons can be found for the products currently in the sale. This is an insult to the families currently struggling to make ends meet and trying to save every cent. I felt I had to express my opinion, and share a little about my frustration with the current “specials.”

I hope everyone has enjoyed their Memorial Day weekend. My kids are officially out of school and ready to being their summer vacation plans. I don’t have any new coupon deals for this week, due to the holiday weekend, but I will post any new deals tomorrow for sales starting on Wednesday. I should have Sunflower Market’s ad tomorrow, but keeping my fingers crossed for the rest of them. I know you’re all as anxious as I am to see the new specials and continuing specials. Have a great evening!

No coupons in this Sunday’s coupon insert due to the Easter holiday. No new deals to post until Tuesday or Wednesday with the new weekly ad. I will keep looking for additional deals, but nothing yet. Have a Happy Easter!

I am anxiously awaiting the new weekly ads. I hope to receive them today, but possibly have to wait until tomorrow. I am keeping my fingers crossed one of the three stores will actually have some decent sales this week. Something to make you anxious to spend you grocery budget money.

There was only one coupon insert in today’s paper. King Soopers included some manufacturer’s coupons, but often times the manufacturer offers a better coupon deal than the King Soopers coupons. For example the Rosarita coupon for $1/3. Rosarita had a coupon a while back for .40/2. I will post any deals I find, but might have to wait for the new week’s ads for any new deals.

Weekly Ads

I am still going through Safeway and Albertson’s ads to find good deals for their various participating items sales. The best bet at this point is to take your coupon book with you to the grocery store and compare the items you need versus the items on sale. Albertson’s 2 liter and 12pk sale is a good deal for roughly .80/ea for the 2 liter and $2/ea for the 12pk. It appears Sunday’s paper will have only one coupon insert. Keep on the lookout for new postings on Sunday morning.

Weekly Ads

I am anxiously awaiting my weekly ads for the new sales this week. I am ready for some outrageously amazing sales. Although I might have to take care of those Albertson’s coupons I haven’t taken advantage of this week.

MoneyI haven’t kept track of my grocery savings before, but I figured with the new website it would be a perfect time to start. I spent $238.44 this month, but saved $460.75 or a little over 65% on my grocery bill this month with store and coupon savings. I tracked my King Soopers credit amount – towards the 10 cents off per gallon – and received a credit of $319.00. Compare the credited amount to the actual amount I spent at King Soopers ($176.11) and I had a total credit of $142.89 over the amount of my purchases. This credit came from the coupons I redeemed during the month. I have to admit I was a little shocked, but extremely excited with my savings. I hope this will help inspire others to join the coupon “clipping” revolution.

There are a lot of good coupons that are in this Sunday’s coupon inserts. I have added a couple of additional posts showing new deals for the week. I will keep looking, but at this time it appears the best course of action is to wait for the new weekly ads on Tuesday/Wednesday. Good luck to all of you shopping between now and Tuesday!
