Great News! Shortcuts.com has added Safeway cards for downloadable coupons. Even more opportunity to save on your groceries!

Click on the link for printable coupons on the left hand side of our website under Pages and proceed to great savings! This link will take you a page to view select coupons from Coupons.com. If you click on “see all coupons” it will give you a list of all the coupons currently available with Coupons.com. There are several great coupons this week. Make sure to print off all the ones you’d like and even reach your print limit. Enjoy the savings! I will post any deals for the coupons I printed off when I see a great deal for them.

The Coupon Clippers have updated their website with the new coupon insert information for Sunday’s paper. Keep in mind you can start to purchase additional coupons tomorrow – a day before your paper comes out. Click Here to go directly to their website.

I had a coupon that didn’t redeem during a shopping trip. Shortcuts.com gave me a cash coupon credit, but when that didn’t redeem I contacted them regarding the issue. I received the following response on 2/14/2009:

Hello,

Thanks for contacting us. We have encountered a technical limitation regarding some Shortcuts.com cash coupons and the redemption process. We are currently working through this issue. In the interim, we will coordinate with Kroger to have a credit placed on your account. The Shortcuts.com cash coupon will expire and fall off. Apologies.

I hadn’t received any further communication from them until I received the following response directly from the Kroger yesterday.

Dear:

Thank you for contacting King Soopers. I apologize for the delay in response to your Shortcuts.com coupon redemption concern. I have added a $1.00 loyalty credit to your Sooper Card. You can use the credit on your next in store purchase. Be sure to scan your Sooper Card prior to ringing up your items and the cashier will be prompted to ask you if you wish to use the credit on your purchase. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

The cash coupon was for .40, but Kroger ended up crediting me for $1. Definitely a positive experience with Shortcuts.com and Kroger. I didn’t mind the wait time since most companies give you 4 to 6 weeks for a response.

I thought I would share my experience for anyone looking for similar help with Shortcuts.com.

Keep in mind unless you order the coupons shipped overnight you probably won’t receive them in time for this week’s sales since they aren’t shipping the coupons until Monday.

King Soopers has Kroger 8oz Cheese on sale for $1.50 this week.

Cellfire.com allows you to download coupons and redeem them at checkout either by entering your cell phone number or swiping your grocery card. King Soopers Sour Cream 16 oz is on sale, starting tomorrow, for 10/$10. Cellfire.com has a coupon for 75 cents off of one 16 oz King Soopers Sour Cream. Your final price is 25 cents. Cellfire.com is a great website to download coupons for various Kroger items plus a lot of brand name items as well.

I have found most companies have coupons for their products, but they don’t always make them easily accessible. Search engines like Google and Yahoo are great for finding a company’s coupons. If the search engine doesn’t get you directly to the company’s website you can often find the coupon link in one of the many coupon forums available online.

This website allows you to earn points per dollar for your online purchases. Coupons.com is available on this website and any coupon you print will earn you 10 points. You can redeem these points for gift certificates to various retailers.
