The regular price for the blueberries is $3.99, but they are on sale for 88 cents each (mentioned in a previous post on 1/27/2009). You save 78% on the blueberries. I had two coupons from redeeming my points on MyCokeRewards.com and thus saved an additional $2 on the 12 packs. My total savings was $21.09, which was a savings of 75%. This is an excellent sale on 12 packs this weekend. This trip combined with my previous trip yesterday has given me 8 12 packs of Coca-Cola, 2 boxes of Triscuits, and a container of blueberries for $14.24. A total of 11 items, which gives me an average of $1.29 per item. Definitely a great price for any of the items purchased.

6 – Roma Tomatoes (1.05lb)

Total: $2.92

These items were mentioned in the post on 1/27/2009. My total savings is listed as $2.74, which is an awesome deal, especially considering the amount the other grocery stores are charging for avocados. I save 55 cents per avocado compared to Safeway’s price. Total percentage saved on this trip was 48%.

The sale on 12 pack Coca-Cola, Pepsi and 7-Up brands started today. A very good bargain at 4 for $7.99 with store coupon. There is a limit of one coupon, but if you live close to a Safeway or like to leave and go back into the store to get additional 12 packs I don’t think you’d be the only one. I had redeemed points from MyCokeRewards.com and received two coupons for $1 off a 12 pack. Those coupons in addition to the coupon for $2 off two boxes of Triscuit, Wheat Thins or Ritz crackers gave me a savings of $24.17. I saved a total of 77%.

Nabisco Crackers are on sale at Safeway for $1.69 each. Triscuit, Ritz and Wheat Thins have a coupon for $2 off of two from this Sunday’s coupon insert. If you purchase two of these crackers the final price, after the coupon, will be $1.38. Granted these products are included in Albertson’s and King Soopers buy 10 save $5 sale, but the final price is $2 for two. Safeway offers you an additional 62 cent savings.

Albertson’s has Bone-In Pork Spare Ribs on sale, with a coupon, Buy 1 Get 2 Free. Regular retail price is $3.99/lb.

Limes are on sale at Safeway 4 for $1.

King Soopers and Albertson’s have a special this week where you can save $5 for any combination of ten participating items. Please keep in mind not all items are listed in your weekly ad from King Soopers or Albertson’s. King Soopers sale is continuing from last week.

King Soopers has 16oz Strawberries on sale for 99 cents each.

Blueberries 6oz or Blackberries 5.6oz are on sale at Safeway this week for 88 cents each.

This Friday, Saturday and Sunday Safeway has Coca-Cola, Pepsi and 7-Up 12 packs are on sale 4 for $7.99 with coupon from weekly ad.
